Regina Coeli Report - April-May 2023: A Return to Form

This issue of the Regina Coeli Report is the first step toward a return to the newsletter’s roots with a fresh emphasis on happenings within the U.S. District of the Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX).

Dear Friends,

The Regina Coeli Report was started in the U.S. District to be a source of news on the life of the SSPX in the United States. With this issue, it will be returning to its roots by covering activities in the District more than focusing on a spiritual theme, while we will continue to provide spiritual content on sspx.org. Future issues will be much more of a report to keep you informed about what is going on at the priories, mission chapels, retreat houses, etc. throughout the District.

By providing this news, the Regina Coeli Report will continue to keep you informed about different aspects of the Society’s work throughout the District, encourage you by showing the vitality of Tradition, and advertise the different apostolates and activities that go on. You can consider it as a bulletin for the District: a place to find retreats and camps coming up, reminders about podcasts and projects you might have missed, and any big announcements that affect traditional Catholics everywhere.

This Report also provides a means for me, as District Superior, to communicate with each of our faithful throughout the District in a unified way. Copies of the Regina Coeli Report are sent out to all of our chapels, in addition to being mailed directly to many of our faithful. The Report is provided for free as a way to express our appreciation to all those who make their contribution to building up the SSPX family in the USA.

Part of the motivation for making this shift of focus is that the U.S. District is the fastest growing District in the SSPX. Many of our chapels are expanding, our schools are increasing in their enrollment, and several new churches are in the planning stages for construction. May these pages be a means for us to be encouraged by the work that is being accomplished for the salvation of souls, by the grace of God, and also move us to thank God for His many blessings towards us.
