Angelus Press: Editorial Position Available

Angelus Press, the official English-language publishing apostolate of the Society of Saint Pius X, is seeking an editor to assist in its work. This position will include editing new and classic Catholic content for books, printed material, and online content.
Objective
Angelus Press is looking to expand its editorial team and fulfill its mission of restoring all things in Christ, primarily in the printed word. We seek an experienced editor with knowledge of the Catholic Faith, particularly the Society of Saint Pius X and its apostolate.
Position Overview
As an editor, you will work closely with our team to ensure the accuracy, clarity, and stylistic excellence of our work, primarily in books and other printed material. You will be entrusted with helping to uphold the doctrinal, liturgical, and spiritual integrity that Angelus Press is known for—supporting our mission to preserve and promote Catholic Tradition and the traditional Latin Mass. This position is a unique opportunity to help shape the voice of Tradition for traditional Catholics worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Review and edit manuscripts for doctrinal and grammatical accuracy
- Perform fact-checking, basic copyediting, and proofreading
- Uphold the pastoral and professional voice of our brand
- Collaborate with authors occasionally
- Read and evaluate submissions
- Identify new titles for our catalog
Qualifications:
- A great love for Our Lord and the Church
- 2+ years of editorial experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Creative thinking and the ability to analyze complicated texts
- Self-motivated and capable of meeting deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, time management, and task prioritization skills
- Working or professional knowledge of foreign languages (especially French, Spanish, German, or Latin) is a bonus.
