A little news and some images about our American seminarians at the SSPX's seminary in Australia.

As we recently reported in our news piece, Ordinations Down Under, several ordinations to both the subdiaconate and minor holy orders were held at Holy Cross Seminary in Goulburn, Australia (located near Sydney). Also mentioned was the advancement of 3 American seminarians studying at Holy Cross Seminary.

From the seminary rector, Fr. Vicente Griego (himself an American from Albuquerque, New Mexico), we have received some further images and news about these seminarians from the States.

Receiving the minor orders of exorcist and acolyte were Nicholas Stamos of St. Mary’s, Kansas and Erik Ladner of Houston, Texas, while Edward Campbell of Sanford, Florida, received the clerical tonsure. Not to be forgotten is another American, Michael Zach of Vale, Oregon, who served in the pontifical ceremonies.

In attendance for the ceremonies from the States was Fr. Benjamin Campbell, who with his relative, Edward Campbell, put on an hilarious skit about transitioning from Roman numerals to Arabic numerals in ancient Rome—hence the togas over the cassocks (see the image gallery below)!

We ask that you keep these American seminarians who are studying overseas in your prayers.

And don't forget to pray for the priestly ordination of Rev. Mr. Jamey Rigi at Post Falls, Idaho this coming Saturday!
