Rosa Mystica: The City of Polomolok is Consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

May 07, 2019

On Thursday, May 3, 2019—in the setting of the 13th Rosa Mystica Mission to the Philippines—the consecration of the city of Polomolok to the Immaculate Heart of Mary took place; along with the renewal of the engagements of Madame Mayor and numerous members of the mayor’s office personnel in the Militia of the Immaculate.

In preparation for the consecration, a hundred or so people followed the procession through the wide streets of the city around city hall. Then Our Lady of Fatima was enthroned in the entry hall by Fr. Timothy Pfeiffer, after he gave a vigorous reminder of the reasons for this consecration, “it is through spiritual combat that we will vanquish those who cut throats…”

A registered ceremony, an attentive, very receptive audience: such a surprise for our Western minds not accustomed to this beneficial harmony between the spiritual and the temporal!
