Over 500 attendees at a packed Angelus Press Conference in Kansas City, MO were treated to inspiring talks presented by Frs. Daniel Couture, Juan-Carlos Iscara, Daniel Themann and Patrick Rutledge covering topics related to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
The day began at 8am with Mass and Rosary. A special treat after supper was a traditional Catholic trivia competition featuring the newest product from Angelus Press.
Students from La Salette Boys Academy, St. Vincent de Paul Academy and St. Mary's Academy joined seminarians from St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary in Minnesota in attending this first day of a three day annual conference. Angela Goldade of St. Mary's Academy stated, "There was so much to learn about the symbolism of the Mass. I had no idea. The trip was well worth it." St. Mary's Academy senior class chose to attend the Angelus Press conference as their field trip this year.
“It's wonderful hearing all these talks bringing out some of the great writing in the books offered by Angelus Press. The writing comes alive in the words of its authors,” said Jason Fabaz, Angelus Press’ Director of Marketing.
Attendees from across the United States were also able to visit tables set up by the seminarians, the Franciscan Sisters of Christ the King, the SSPX Third Order, the Archconfraternity of St. Stephen, the Eucharistic Crusade and many other apostolates.
The monks of Our Lady of Guadalupe Monastery in Silver City, NM were on hand with their Abbey Roast Coffee. Attendees could also pre-order conference recordings from Santiago Productions. In the words of one attendee, "Everything is running smoothly. The Angelus Press has done a good job putting together a great conference."
