Bishop Fellay's newest Superior General's Letter is now available at SSPX.ORG!
In his Letter to Friends and Benefactors no. 83, Bishop Fellay speaks about how the future Pope Benedict XVI had a "disastrous vision of the Church's future" and how the post-conciliar crisis has caused us to be "...no longer very far from the almost prophetic vision of Cardinal Ratzinger."
But lest that doom and gloom preoccupy our spirits, Bishop Fellay then embarks to relate in a "few lines... into the current development of the Society" which continues to grow "despite the hits that it has received on all sides".
We are treated to some inspiring words about the Catholic family, the Catholic school, the importance of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius which the SSPX promotes in its retreat centers, as well as the necessity for the priesthood and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and how the Society's seminarian numbers continue to flourish.
