Can I add the Rosary Crusade to my own intentions?

Can you pray the rosary for your own intentions while praying for the Rosary Crusade's?

Some confusion has arisen about adding intentions to the rosaries that will be offered for the Rosary Crusade beginning on January 1st.

As with the praying of every rosary, you may certainly add your own personal intentions to the three-fold intention of the Rosary Crusade:

  1. To implore from the Immaculate Heart of Mary a special protection for the traditional apostolate;
  2. For the return to Tradition within the Church;
  3. For the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary by the consecration of Russia.

Hence, you can offer your rosary for your personal intentions (such as the welfare of your family, or the deceased), while simultaneously offering it for the three-fold intention of the Rosary Crusade (as another intention). Rosaries offered in this manner may also be included in your Rosary Crusade tally.

So it's that easy! And we hope that you will take the opportunity during the new year of 2014 (from January 1st to June 8th), to unite all of your rosaries to the intentions of the Rosary Crusade.

May Our Lady of the Rosary obtain many graces for your during the year 2014.
