Some words about the Supreme Court's tragic decision and encouragement to go to Our Lady through her rosary.
In a 5-4 vote, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled today that states cannot ban "gay marriage". Not only did the Supreme Court "legalize" unnatural unions, giving general approval to a re-definition of marriage, but it ruled that such unnatural unions are "civil rights".
This makes the United States the 21st country to legalize "same-sex marriage" throughout the world, the second after Brazil to establish that it is a right. Previous to the ruling, of the 50 states of the Union, 13 had persevered in upholding the natural law on marriage.
We deeply deplore seeing our country take one more step in rebellion against God’s law. The answer of God—when He does not express His legitimate wrath—is abandoning men to their depraved will, one of the most terrible chastisements because it forbids any possibility of waking up and reacting. As the Psalmist says: "nisi Dominus… in vanum laboraverunt homines... if the Lord does not build the house, then those who build it work in vain.” (Ps. 127:1)
In the battle being waged against marriage and the family, we recommend turning first to the rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary—she who destroys all heresies. As Sister Lucy of Fatima affirmed: “There is no problem the Rosary cannot solve." There is no better counterattack!
Let us also be prepared to give witness to the Faith even to martyrdom if necessary through an increased fidelity to our daily duties of state, strongly convinced that, "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved—and there is salvation in no one else." (Acts 4:14)
