Does a state of necessity exist in the Church today? This question is the subject of Episode 12 of our FAQ video series, which examines a consequence of the post-conciliar crisis afflicting the Catholic Church, previously addressed in Episode #6.

It's an important question, as souls have the right to obtain the necessary aids for their salvation, particularly sound doctrine and properly administered sacraments. But the current state of affairs in the Catholic Church today has made the attainment of these aids very difficult, if even impossible. This grave crisis has created a state of necessity within the Church.

In Episode 12, we will examine what a state of necessity is and some of its practical consequences concerning the application of the Church's laws.
