Let the SSPX's 2014 international pilgrimage to Lourdes inspire you with holy hope in the triumph of Our Savior, Christ the King and Our Lady, the Immaculata!
A pilgrimage made...
In thanksgiving for the Faith received and to maintain fidelity in the struggle for Tradition.
For the reign of Christ the King, for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the Holy Roman Catholic Church.
With the participation of the Society of St. Pius X's three bishops, its major superiors, seminary rectors, international seminarians and representatives of other traditional religious communities.
Lourdes 2014, Oct. 25-28: Our Lady of Holy Hope
On the occasion of the centenary of the death of St. Pius X, over 10,000 pilgrims from around the world prayed in front of the Grotto. All the seminary rectors and district superiors of the Society of St. Pius X, and a large number of priests and seminarians, religious brothers and sisters were with Bishop Bernard Fellay, Bishop Bernard Tissier de Mallerais and Bishop Alfonso de Galarreta, who each celebrated a Mass during the three days in the Basilica of St. Pius X.
On Sunday, the Feast of Christ the King, the Superior General of the Society of St. Pius X said that our hope in this crisis was entirely based on Our Lord; he reminded us that the treasure of Tradition should not be buried, nor should the light of the world be put under a bushel, while reaffirming our filial devotion and confidence in our Mother, Our Lady of Holy Hope.
All those who could not go to Lourdes will have the joy of seeing videos and hearing the prayers, songs and sermons that marked the three days of grace. Those who were able to attend this wonderful pilgrimage will rejoice to recall they were in this blessed place where "Heaven visited the earth."
