Fatima Art and Poetry Contest

Students attending SSPX schools / chapels are encouraged to submit their artwork and poetry to celebrate the finale of the Pilgrim Virgin's travels through the District.

To celebrate the centenary of the apparitions of Fatima, the U.S. District has been sponsoring the travels of the Fatima Pilgrim Virgin Statue throughout the United States and Canada. In December, she will make her final stop at the SSPX school and chapel in Walton, KY.

Families throughout the District are welcome to join the celebration in the form of their childrens' artwork and poetry. Each student may submit their original work - with the theme of Fatima for the art contest, and one of the titles of Our Lady from the litany for the poetry contest - for an opportunity to gain a prize.

Submissions must be received at the District House by December 1, 2017 to be considered - please consider mailing times when encouraging your students or children.

Note: Each submission (per child, not per family) must be accompanied by the appropriate entry form linked below. Please do not put any identifying information on the work itself, as this is a "blind" contest. We would encourage paper clips or some other sort of non-permanent method of submitting the form with the work.

We look forward to receiving the submissions of the children throughout the United States in honor of Our Blessed Mother!
